Communication skills workshop was held

🗣“Only through understanding, equitable policies, and confronting history we can pave the way for a better future” was one of the main conclusions drawn from the “Communication Skills for Problem Solving and Peacebuilding” training held last weekend at our premises.💡
Centering discussion on these three dimensions of peacebuilding, participants had the opportunity to better understand the importance of :
• learning the root causes of conflicts and the value of diversity 📚🌐
• effective governance and the rule of law in upholding human rights and ensuring transparency and accountability ⚖️🔍
• as well as the importance of facing history and ourselves.
A special focus was also given to the significant role of media in promoting this process. Drawing examples from research findings on media monitoring, participants examined different types of reporting, allowing them to identify the factors and potential conditions that media can create to uphold peacebuilding. 🚨📢
A special thank you to Shkodran Hoti for his guidance and expertise, as well as to all participants for their engagement. 🙌
This activity is part of the “Open Preshevo” project, which is carried out within the framework of the program “Further Development of Civil Dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo” implemented by Center for Regionalism from Novi Sad, in partnership with “Mother Teresa Society Kosovo” from Pristina, supported by the European Commission.
